Golden oldies time. Sun 420R running Solaris 10 1/13 with all security and recommended patches attached to an A5200 array - fully populated with 72 GB disks. The host sees all the (working) drives in the storage array. I have been able to create zpools on them, read and write, all that one would expect.

Wondering why luxadm does not "see" the array? Tells me no FC devices found, yet I can access the drives as I would expect.

# luxadm display c

SENA

Any thoughts? Wanted to use this set-up for messing around with ZFS now that it is finally out of production.

Thanks.

I ran into this problem when I last patched a V440 running 10 8/07.
I had a support contract for the V440 but Oracle told me that the support for A5200s had ended. He suggested that I back-out of a specific patch for the SAN related packages. I cannot tell you what patch that was. I just reverted to the pre-patch boot environment and all was well.

Did you ever get luxadm to see the enclosure ?
