Hi

I am trying to mount Samba filesystems on my Solaris 10 machine. Using
the java filebrowser or Firefox I can browse various Samba file
systems. They appear as

smb://io/home where io is the hostname and home the samba share.

However I couldn't figure how to mount that to something like
/export/io/home

I tried the mount command, google it around but no result. Some said
that it cannot be done with the standard Solaris 10 samba utilities
and I need a comercial one.

I am running Solaris 10 10/09 sx10x_u8wos_08a X86 assembled on
16/09/09 on an amd64 machine.

I am trying to mount Samba filesystems on my Solaris 10 machine. Using
mount_smbfs(1M), smbfs(7FS), and friends have not been backported
to Solaris 10.

You'll need to upgrade to Indiana or use third party software.
